Sweet and Sour Tilapia

Serves 3-4 persons


Cooking Methods

  1. For Fried Tilapia, Clean Tilapia, wash and pat dry
  2. Pre-heat MINOLA PREMIUM COCONUT COOKING OIL
  3. Coat Tilapia with Flour seasoned with Salt and Pepper
  4. Deep fry until golden brown and set aside
  5. Sautee all vegetables and season with Salt & Pepper
  6. For the Sauce, In a sauce pan, simmer all liquid ingredients,, add Brown Sugar and Cornstarch, mix well and cook over medium heat until thick
  7. Mix in all sauteed ingredients
  8. Pour over plated Tilapia

  • 2 whole medium sie Tilapia
  • 1/2 cup sliced Carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion chunks
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 3 Cups MINOLA PREMIUM COCONUT COOKING OIL
  • For the Sauce, 1 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 3 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
