About Minola

A brief history

The Minola brand is owned and manufactured by the San Pablo Manufacturing Corporation (SPMC), part of the group of companies known collectively as the CIIF Oil Mills Group. CIIF stands for Coconut Industry Investment Fund. The CIIF group of companies have recently been declared as government owned and controlled corporations.

SPMC prides itself on its strict quality standards. This has been certified and recognized by different quality-standard regulatory institutions, such as the FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) ,Halal, Kosher, Organic Processing.

The Minola brand franchise has been leading the market for over 50 years. It is the number 1 brand in the Philippine coconut cooking oil segment, and is one of the leading brands in the overall cooking oil category.

In its objective to further and consistently update its brand equity, Minola has been exploring to develop other forms of cooking oil and food preparation outside from its premium coconut cooking oil products. To date, Minola also has palm olein and table margarine.

SPMC’s vision and mission are to uplift the lives of our coconut farmers and to support the development of the Philippine coconut industry.
